Wedding breakfasts, parties and all social gatherings

The Hall has good facilities for wedding receptions with seating for up to 80 people sitting comfortably at tables with a further 10-12 (for example, the bridal party) on the stage.

Full use can be made of the kitchen to prepare and plate-up food, and the dishwasher is waiting to help you clear up afterwards. Decorations to suit can include table decorations, streamers from the ceiling, etc. One party used a parachute silk hanging from the ceiling! There is also outside space at the south-west facing rear of the Hall where additional tables can be used or for serving drinks, plus the field is for use at your convenience. The Hall and playing fields are available for weddings, parties and other events.

Parties for all ages

Everything from a rock and roll evening (canned music, or live music on the stage) to something like a Burns Supper to a child’s birthday party. For all of these you also have full use of the kitchen and the outside space including hard standing and a field large enough for a football match.

Make a booking

For weddings, a returnable deposit of £100 is required on booking and payment in full before the event.

Hirers may use the tables, chairs and crockery available at the village hall or arrange for their own to be supplied.
